Dr. Serdar Sava\u015f, genetik bilgiyi ki\u015fiye \u00f6zel koruyucu t\u0131p alan\u0131na d\u00fcnyada ilk kez uygulayan ve bu alanda uluslararas\u0131 liderlik yapan hekim ve bilim insanlar\u0131ndan biridir.<\/p>

1960 y\u0131l\u0131nda Ankara\u2019da do\u011fan Sava\u015f, ilk ve orta \u00f6\u011frenimini Ceyhan ve Adana\u2019da tamamlam\u0131\u015f, Kabata\u015f Erkek Lisesi\u2019nden mezun olmu\u015ftur. Y\u00fcksek\u00f6\u011frenimini \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi ve \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi Hukuk Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019nde, lisans\u00fcst\u00fc e\u011fitimini ise London School of Economics and Political Science ile London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine\u2019de tamamlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Halen Maltepe \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde, Prof. Dr. \u0130onna Ku\u00e7uradi dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, felsefe temelli \u0130nsan Haklar\u0131 y\u00fcksek lisans\u0131na devam etmektedir.<\/p>

Birle\u015fik Sa\u011fl\u0131k Sistemleri, \u0130leri T\u0131p Teknolojileri, GENAR Toplum Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve Genombilim Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc ile Gentest Toplum Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Genombilim ve Ki\u015fiye \u00d6zel T\u0131p Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn kurucusudur.<\/p>

Uluslararas\u0131 alanda sa\u011fl\u0131k ve genombilim \u00fczerine pek \u00e7ok dergide edit\u00f6rl\u00fck yapm\u0131\u015f, bir\u00e7ok komite ve kurulda \u00fcye ya da ba\u015fkanl\u0131k g\u00f6revlerinde bulunmu\u015f; Avrupa Komisyonu, D\u00fcnya Bankas\u0131 ve OECD b\u00fcnyesinde \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara imza atm\u0131\u015f, 52 \u00fclkenin sa\u011fl\u0131k projelerinde g\u00f6rev alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>

T\u00fcrkiye Nutrigenetik ve Ki\u015fiye \u00d6zel T\u0131p Derne\u011fi ile Erdemli Yurtta\u015f Hareketi Derne\u011fi\u2019nin kurucu ba\u015fkan\u0131d\u0131r. Kabata\u015f Erkek Lisesi E\u011fitim Vakf\u0131\u2019n\u0131n en gen\u00e7 kurucu \u00fcyesidir. Ayr\u0131ca Be\u015fikta\u015f Jimnastik Kul\u00fcb\u00fc, Kabata\u015fl\u0131 Be\u015fikta\u015fl\u0131lar Derne\u011fi, Kabata\u015fl\u0131lar Derne\u011fi, T\u00fcm F\u00fct\u00fcristler Derne\u011fi ve Yan\u0131nday\u0131z Derne\u011fi \u00fcyesidir.
